District Information
The Elgin Independent School District is located approximately 22 miles east of Austin and is in the Region 13 Education Service Center area. There are six campuses: Elgin Elementary School, Booker T. Washington Elementary School, Neidig Elementary School, Elgin Middle School, Elgin High School and Phoenix High School (Alternative Education). Elgin ISD comprises more than 168 square miles in portions of Bastrop, Lee, and Travis Counties and provide educational facilities and resources to meet the needs of more than 3500 students on five campuses.
