Maintenance & Operating
Maintenance operating funds are funds committed for the daily operation of the district and short term needs for such things as: salaries and benefits, supplies, transportation, maintenance, utilities, etc.
 
Interest & Sinking
Interest and sinking funds are funds used to pay for long term debt service of the district.
 
Bond Funds
Bond funds are funds which were voter approved for long term capital needs of the district and include such things as: new school sites, buildings, renovations and upgrades to roofs and air conditioning systems additions, equipment, furniture, etc. If all bond voter approved projects are completed, the remaining funds may be used for other projects or placed into the debt service fund to help draw down the districts debts. These funds cannot be moved from bond to the general operating account of the district.
