Promethean/ActivInspire
June 6: Essentials I
ActivInspire is the latest software available for the Promethean ActivBoard. Users may choose a primary or secondary look based on grade level and comfort. Many new templates are included for quick lesson building. There is an easier user-interface for quick design and customization. Open all previously created flipcharts in Inspire. ActivExpressions work with ActivInspire and do not require separate software. ClassFlow is incorporated into ActivInspire for enhanced student participation.
June 7: Essentials II
Designing and developing curriculum flipcharts . Focused work time with Certified Trainers . Evaluating flipcharts for instructional techniques . Incorporating advanced flipchart techniques to enhance instruction . Using and creating resource packs.
June 8: FlipChart Authoring & ClassFlow
Building a better flipchart begins with having the right tools. ClassFlow online versus ActivInspire. ** Prerequisite: ActivInspire Core Essentials 1 and ActivInspire Core Essentials 2

Tuesday – June 14: Google Apps for Education 101
Learn the basics of the Google Apps for Education suite. Sharing, Collaborating, and Enhancing the classroom with Google products will be explored. No prior Google knowledge is required.
Wednesday – June 15: Google Apps for Education 201
Delve deeper into the world of Google Apps for Education. Use your understanding of the basic Google Apps Suite (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms) and open up your classroom to the world and connectivity. Understanding of creation, sharing and formatting the basic suite is required for this course.
Monday – June 20: Google Apps for Education 102
Google Apps for sharing and communication will be explored. No understanding of Google Apps is required.
Tuesday – June 21: Google Apps For Education 101
Learn the basics of the Google Apps for Education suite. Sharing, Collaborating, and Enhancing the classroom with Google products will be explored. No prior Google knowledge is required.
Monday – June 27: Google Apps for Education 202 – Flipped Classroom
Using a variety of Google and non-Google apps, learn what Flipped Classroom is and how it will benefit your students. Give your students access to learning at anytime, and build in class time for deeper understanding.
Tuesday – June 28: Google Apps for Education 301
Culminate your understanding of the tools presented in previous levels of Google Apps for Education (100s and 200s) to develop inquiry based, tech-infused lessons. Multiple resources will be accessed and collaboration and cooperation will be expected through out the day.

Monday – June 13: Teacher Web Pages
Teachers will be familiarized with the new Web Hosting service where they will create and maintain their teacher webpage. The course will cover creating, editing, posting, and maintaining their webpage for collaboration and parental communication.
Wednesday – June 22: iOS Apps to Create
Explore apps that you and your students can use to creatively show learning and understanding. Play time will be encouraged.
Wednesday – June 29: iOS Apps to Explain
Learn how about apps that will allow you students to explain their learning. Multiple apps will be discussed and play time will encouraged.

Come and learn how to use eBackpack to save you time and paper. With eBackpack, work can be assigned, annotated, graded and returned to students on an iPad or computer. eBackpack is an excellent tool as you move towards a paperless classroom.
Tuesday – July 12: iTunes Course Manager
This training is for High School and Middle School Teachers and Administrators. In this course, you will learn how to create an iTunes U course for your classes. In addition, you will learn how to access other courses in iTunes U, the world’s largest digital catalog of free educational content
