Elgin ISD is very excited to offer new, optional, and additional training for all of our Substitute Teachers. The virtual training is offered by the App-Garden University. There are many benefits to you as a substitute, such as the ability to train anytime and anywhere you have access to the internet. This course includes additional strategies, tips, and ideas for being a successful substitute teacher.

Elgin ISD TX Effective Substitute Teacher Training Interactive v. 19 is available for all potential substitutes for Elgin ISD. The cost of the course is $29.00. This would be an out-of-pocket expense.

When you register, you will be taken to an introduction video that explains how to navigate through the courses and how to print your certificate. Watch this video first! Once you complete this training, you may print a certificate of completetion to keep for your records. (Human Capital will receive a report of your completion as well.)

Once the purchase is made, you will have immediate access to the course. You may review the course as many times as you feel necessary within your one-year enrollment in the course, which begins on the date of purchase.
