    • 100% of the Elgin ISD team will build trusting relationships and receive feedback in a respectful and safe environment.

     

    Action Steps

    Fall ‘18

    • Create and review a written chain of command to be shared with all staff and school board members
    • Example of software to use: Pingboard for organization chart
    • Written Chain of Command will be added to employee handbook, school board policies and placed on internal technical resources
    • Create a clear plan of action to meet the district wide goals, priorities and expectations
    • Plan PD district wide that allows staff to have time for dialogue, ask questions and review for clarification of district wide goal, priorities and expectations
    • Create and complete a survey to establish focus groups

    Spring ‘19

    • Create survey to obtain data to reflect the EISD team understanding of the chain of command
    • Survey will be given quarterly Oct., Jan., and April
    • Plan PD district wide that allows staff to have time for dialogue, ask questions and review for clarification of district wide goal, priorities and expectations
    • Schedule district-wide team building moments
