The Elgin ISD Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, wellbeing and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
Our services are provided through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food & Nutrition Division. Summer Feeding
The Elgin Independent School District will be operating two summer feeding sites Trinity Ranch Elementary, 132 Grist Mill Lane, Elgin, Texas 78621, May 26, 2026 through June 25,2026. Breakfast will be served Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be served Monday-Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Elgin High School, 14000 County Line Road, Elgin, Texas 78621, May 26, 2026 through June. 25,2026.
