School Board

The Board of Trustees typically meets at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of each month in the Administration Building Auditorium (1002 North Avenue C, Elgin). Special meetings may be scheduled as needed. A notice of regular and special meetings will be posted at the Administration Building three business days prior to the date of the scheduled meeting.

All meetings are open to the public and may be attended in person. Regular meetings are also available virtually through a posted Zoom link. Members of the public who wish to address the board on an agenda item must attend in person and sign up before the meeting begins using the Public Participation Forms available at the entrance.

In accordance with Texas law, the board may enter closed session under limited circumstances, including discussion of prospective gifts or donations, real property acquisition, personnel matters such as employee conferences and complaints, security issues, student discipline, or consultation with attorneys.
