School Board

School Board members usually meet the third Monday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Administration Building Auditorium. Special meetings may be called when necessary. A written notice of regular and special meetings will be posted in the Administration Building at least 72 hours before the scheduled meeting. The written notice will show the date, time, place, and subjects of each meeting. In emergencies, a meeting may be held at a two-hour notice.

All meetings are open to the public and can be attended in-person. Regular meetings can also be viewed virtually by accessing the Zoom link provided. Members of the public wishing to address the Board on agenda items must attend in-person and sign up prior to the start of the meeting on the Public Participation Forms provided at the entrance of the meeting location. Under the following circumstances, Texas law permits the board to go into a closed session: to discuss prospective gifts or donations, real property acquisition, personnel issues including conferences with employees and employee complaints, security matters, student discipline, or to consult with attorneys.
