Elgin Independent School District (ISD) continues to be one of the fastest-growing school districts in Central Texas. As a result, Elgin ISD will soon be opening two new elementary schools. Harvest Ridge Elementary (HRE) is projected to open in August 2024 and Trinity Ranch Elementary is projected to open in August 2025.

In a District experiencing growth as rapidly as Elgin ISD, and with the additions of two new elementary schools, it becomes necessary to redraw the attendance zones of our elementary schools for the upcoming school year.

This fall, Elgin ISD along with your input, will begin the process of analyzing its current school attendance zone boundaries for the purpose of determining new elementary school boundaries and school attendance zones.

The District will be presenting rezoning options at three upcoming meetings. Meeting dates, locations, and times are listed below. In addition, there will be an online form for providing input and suggestions, which will be available here or scan the QR code.

Your input regarding the school attendance zone boundaries and any concerns about your child(ren) and their prospective attendance zone is important as we formulate recommendations for the Elgin ISD Board of Trustees.
