Summer Food Service Program

When school is out for the summer, hundreds of children will be looking for places to meet their friends, have fun, and eat healthy snacks and meals. The Elgin ISD Summer Food Service Program is ready to meet the demand!

The Texas Department of Agriculture Summer Nutrition Program is offered state-wide by local sponsors who operate sites where children up to 18 years old can get meals at no charge. The service is open to all children, regardless of income. People who are over the age of 18 and enrolled in school programs for people with disabilities can also receive meals at no charge.
