Elgin Independent School District elected new officers to lead its Board of Trustees during its regular meeting on May 19, 2025 after recognizing outgoing board members Angie Edmon and Jennifer Culver and swearing in new board members Barry Barker and Teneisha Wilson.

Neidig Elementary School Principal Dr. Arthur Martinez has been selected as the new principal for Trinity Ranch Elementary School, opening in fall 2025.
